Born in Baden, Switzerland, Executive Sous Chef Michel Eschmann started an illustrious career with Hyatt in 2009 as Chef de Cuisine at Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai, where he was in charge of banquet, all-day dining operations and the hotel’s classic European restaurant, VUE. He most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, responsible for Tables Grill, Bangkok’s first traditional European restaurant with tableside cooking. With a flair for European cuisine, Chef Michel is a gastronomic mastermind who is set to bring a fresh level of creativity to the culinary landscape of downtown Kuala Lumpur.
